This presentation will give you an overview of contract law. I will introduce you to the life cycle of an agreement. We will begin with some advice, such as  the use of the “Enveloppe Soleau” and the confidentiality precautions one should take when developing a highly sensitive project. We will go throught the questions linked to the transfer of IP rights. Finally, you will be introduced to the movement of “creative commons” or “Open source” contracts.

This new presentation deals with trademark rights. You will learn what a French trade mark is, how to register your trademark and the extent of the protection obtained. Once the formalities are done, you will  learn that you have to keep monitoring and managing your trademark so as not to be victim of or guilty of trademark infringement. Through this presentation you will be introduced to the law applicable to the web. We will approach the subject through the themes of domain name, metatags, terms of use, the intermediary service provider liability, and personal data.

This presentation offers you a first approach of intellectual property law. You will find an introduction to the field via the main rights and types of contracts. I will then introduce you to the “copyright” world and its implications. I will talk about the specific matter of collective or collaborative works, as well  just as the fundamental distinctions between copyright and the right of image.
